Achievements of CMK’s 2025-26 season
This past season has been our most successful in years with most concerts SOLD OUT. Total attendance for the six main series concerts was almost 1900 and exceeded 97% of capacity. We acknowledge and appreciate the wonderful support of our loyal patrons whose participation makes our volunteer board’s efforts worthwhile. We are also very happy that many students from UBC-Okanagan and the Kelowna Community Music school attended a performance this season under our student ticket programs with these educational organizations.
Stakeholder Survey Participation
The 2026 survey was sent out on March 11 and 103 friends of CMK completed it. Thank you so much! We really appreciate your help. A summary of the results will be included in the next Newsletter but I want to note now that several comments about concert etiquette and our patrons’ experience in the theatre are receiving special attention; we certainly appreciate how important these issues are to your enjoyment of the music. They will be discussed with the Rentals Manager at the RCA since solutions will mostly fall within the policies and procedures adopted by the facility. There will be more about the survey results next month.
