President’s Letter – March 2026
Dear Friends ~
It’s hard to believe that we are already coming up on the final concert of the 2025-26 season on April 18. This occasion will also see the announcement by our Artistic Director Patty Tao of a very exciting 2026-27 season.
Balourdet String Quartet Performs on Saturday, April 18
There are only 20 seats available, so please secure yours now. See below for concerts details and program. Tickets are available at theboxoffice.ca or you can call 250-469-8940 during business hours. And, if you are a ticketholder but find yourself unable to attend, please call the Box Office to donate your seat(s) for resale so another music-lover can enjoy the performance. You will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
2026-27 Season Announcement
If you are a current subscriber, please plan to pick up your personalized envelope with all the exciting details of 2026-27 either before the concert or at intermission. Also, if you know someone who is not yet a subscriber but who may appreciate receiving this information, please let us know by email to [email protected] and we will prepare an envelope for them as well. All addressed packages not claimed at the April 18 concert will be mailed out the following week.
Celebrate Our Success!
This season has been our most successful in years with most concerts SOLD OUT. We hope subscribers will gather with the Board after the concert on April 18 to raise a glass to our artistically vibrant and financially healthy Society! A reminder of this happy occasion will be included in the “Know before you go” email that is sent to ticket-holders in the days before the event – but please put it in your calendar now!
Stakeholder Survey is Live!
We have been delighted this season with the wonderful support you have shown for a wide range of programs and artists. We love your feedback at any time and, once every few years, we conduct an email survey of our stakeholders to help us in our planning for future seasons. The 2026 survey went live on March 11 and I understand that 70 friends of CMK have already completed it.
