Message from Artistic Director Patricia Tao – May 2026
I hope you’ll join us for an exciting season of chamber music, featuring internationally acclaimed Canadian artists James Ehnes with Andrew Armstrong, and solo pianist Jan Lisiecki. These internationally sought-after performers, who regularly appear with the world’s leading orchestras and conductors, bring a rare and exciting opportunity to hear them live in Kelowna. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Quebec-based Constantinople returns after a standout 2024 performance. We also welcome two exciting Kelowna debuts: the Busch Trio from Amsterdam and the Notos Piano Quartet from Germany, each bringing the exceptional artistry and refined musicianship for which Europe’s finest ensembles are known. In support of the Banff International String Quartet Competition, we will present the most recent first prize winners, the Poeisis Quartet, performing in January 2027. This year brings a vibrant blend of renowned artists and fresh voices—don’t miss this remarkable season.
