President’s Message – June 2025
Dear Friends –If you are a CMK subscriber, you should have received by mail your 2025-26 renewal package. We are delighted to present a tremendously varied series of six concerts from solo guitar to chamber orchestra.
The season opens on October 4, 2025 with celebrated Canadian pianist Stewart Goodyear in a program featuring three well-loved Beethoven sonatas as well as Stewart’s own works. So put the date in your calendar now!
Of course, October is some months away, so we hope to see several of you at a very special evening with the Tesla String Quartet at Quails’ Gate Estate Winery on June 15 (Fathers’ Day). This will be an intimate gathering in the Stewart Family Room featuring fine cuisine and wine pairings along with a string serenade suitable for a summer’s evening. Those who attended our first event at Quails’ Gate two years ago know it will be a wonderful evening. More details appear below.
For the 2025-26 Main Season, we’ve added an option for subscribers to select five of our 6 concerts if you would like. As our season grows, we want to remain flexible and keep our prices reasonable. You can subscribe to all 6 concerts for $299 or select 5 for $260. More information is available to make your musical plans online at theboxoffice.ca or you can call 250-469-8940. The renewal deadline will now be August 29, 2025 so please respond before that date. If you want to change the location of your guaranteed seats, let us know and we will fulfill change requests in early September once the deadline is past.
If you are subscribing for the first time – and we hope you will! – you can purchase your subscription from amongst the best available seats now and, if you wish, request a call in September to consider other available locations then. The box office staff are very helpful and will be happy to assist you.
If you have not received a season invitation in the mail and would like one, please send an email to [email protected]. We look forward to welcoming you!
With all best wishes,
Diane
