President’s Message – April 2025
Dear Friends and Supporters of CMK –
On behalf of our volunteer Board, I want to thank CMK’s loyal community of subscribers and donors for your support during the 2024-25 season. It has been wonderful to hear from many of you about your enjoyment of the subscription concerts and we hope that as many of you as possible will be with us for the grand finale, the very special concert on April 24th with the James Ehnes String Quartet. Our sincere thanks to the evening’s sponsor, Odlum Brown, a fully independent Canadian investment firm.
All ticketholders are invited to a post-concert “Meet the Artists” event at which our Artistic Director, Dr. Patricia Tao, will unveil the exciting line-up we have for you for 2025-26 season! Patty has planned six concerts to allow for a greater variety of artists and we think you will be as enthusiastic as we are about the major musical talents who will be visiting Kelowna next season. We are also offering two subscription packages to bring you greater scheduling flexibility.
Your renewal package will be available at the concert on April 24th . If you are not able to attend to collect your package in person, don’t worry. We will provide all new season details in our May newsletter and will be mailing out season subscription packages after the performance. If you are not sure you are on the list to receive the package, feel free to send your request to [email protected]
