Chamber Music Kelowna
could not exist without the volunteers who contribute
time and energy to the smooth operation of the organization.
We especially welcome new volunteers who can help in
the following areas:
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Board Members
Our Chamber Music Board consists of a small group of
wonderfully diverse people who are bonded together by
their passion for chamber music. We need more like us!
At this time we are seeking a Director with experience in marketing, promotion and corporate sponsorship.
Bulk mail assistance
Infrequently, several hours of assistance are required
to prepare mailouts. The process can involve adhering
labels, folding and inserting flyers, sealing mail pieces,
and stamping.
Publicity Distribution
Having people in different areas of town and the valley
to help with the distribution of posters and brochures
is a great way to spread the workload. This would take
an hour or two, four or five times a year.
Updating Membership Mailing Information
At each of our concerts we would like to have two Chamber Music Kelowna Society members present before the concert and during intermission to record any new addresses or email information from our audience. This helps us keep our mail-outs current and cuts down on our mailing costs.
Transportation
for Artists
If you own a vehicle, like to drive, and would welcome
an opportunity to meet some of our artists personally,
then this is the job for you. An airport pick up can
take from 1-2 hours by the time you connect with your
artist, pick up baggage, and drive him or her to the
hotel. (Station wagons, SUVs, and mini-vans are especially
nice for this job!)
